Popular Gastronomy Festival under the Halle de Vic-en-Bigorre
Les Tablées de Vic is the first popular gastronomy festival in France, created in 2015 in Vic-en-Bigorre by Clément Menet, then mayor of the commune. Every year at the end of June, under and around the town's emblematic Halle, about twenty chefs — several of whom are Michelin-starred — offer culinary creations highlighting local products and short supply chains. The festival gathers approximately 15,500 visitors around popular-priced gourmet dinners, farmers' markets, concerts, and festive entertainment. Sponsored over the editions by renowned chefs such as Christian Etchebest, Christian Constant, Yannick Delpech, and Juan Arbelaez, the event has become an unmissable gastronomic highlight in the South-West.
Since 2015, the small town of Vic-en-Bigorre, in the heart of the Val d'Adour in the Hautes-Pyrénées, has hosted a culinary event unique in France: Les Tablées de Vic. Conceived as the first popular gastronomy festival, this ambitious event aims to make haute cuisine accessible to all, in a friendly and festive setting.
Each edition brings together about twenty chefs from all over France, who offer original culinary creations highlighting local products and short supply chains. Over the years, chefs such as Christian Etchebest, Christian Constant, Yannick Delpech, and Juan Arbelaez have sponsored the event.
The format of Les Tablées is designed for conviviality: under and around the Halle de Vic-en-Bigorre, guests share multi-course dinners, with the possibility of choosing from the dishes offered by the different chefs. Thursday evening opens the festival with a six-hand gourmet dinner combining three chefs for a menu with food, wine, and cocktail pairings. Friday and Saturday evenings gather up to 900 guests under the Halle for grand gastronomic evenings. Sunday is dedicated to the producers' picnic in the Parc urbain naturel de Vic-en-Bigorre.
Beyond gastronomy, the festival offers festive entertainment with DJs, bandas, and Pyrenean singers, as well as a bodega open to all with tapas and a champagne bar. Cooking workshops for children complete the family program, making Les Tablées de Vic an event open to all generations.
The 11th edition of Les Tablées de Vic will be held from June 25 to 28, 2026 in Vic-en-Bigorre. Sponsored by pastry chef Jean-François Feuillette, this edition brings together 21 chefs — including several Michelin-starred chefs like Julien Razemon and Quentin Pellestor — for four days of popular gastronomy under the Halle. The thematic color of the year: yellow.
