The 37th edition of Truffles in a Frenzy will take place from January 28 to February 1, 2026, in Sorges-et-Ligueux-en-Périgord. The program includes educational workshops for young people on Friday, culinary workshops and demonstrations by renowned chefs, the official inauguration followed by a culinary show, the opening of the truffle village, a bodega evening hosted by Rock'n Wine, the truffle market, and the famous truffle meal.

By car: Sorges-et-Ligueux-en-Périgord is located on the N21, about 20 km northeast of Périgueux.
Opening Hours
Three days at the end of January (Friday to Sunday). Activities from 9:30 AM to 6 PM.
Prices
Free entry to the truffle village and activities. Sunday truffle meal is paid (reservation required).

The truffle capital celebrates
Sorges-et-Ligueux-en-Périgord, recognized as the truffle capital in Dordogne, hosts the Truffles in a Frenzy festival every year at the end of January, a gastronomic celebration dedicated to the black diamond of Périgord (Tuber melanosporum). This festival, with over 35 editions, is one of the major gastronomic events in the region.
A rich and gourmet program
The festival spans three days with a varied program: truffle market, culinary demonstrations by renowned chefs, truffle village with artisans and producers, conferences on truffle growing, workshops for children, omelet contests, and the famous Sunday truffle meal. Each edition is placed under the patronage of a famous personality.

Beyond gastronomy, Truffles in a Frenzy offers concerts, a bodega evening, and festive entertainment, making this event a true popular celebration of Périgord's culinary heritage. The Truffle Ecomuseum is also accessible during the festival.
